February 28, 2020 – Simpsonville, SC – Muffin Mam announced today that Carl E. Lee, Jr. has been appointed to the position of Chairman of the Board for the Company.  Mr. Lee joins Muffin Mam’s Board of Directors with over 35 years of leadership and management experience with food companies and overseeing the merger and acquisition of companies in the consumer products industry. In his past, he has held influential, progressively advancing executive roles with Frito-Lay, Nabisco/Kraft, and Snyder’s-Lance.  Additionally, he has served as a Board Director of Welch’s Foods, as well as on the Boards of the Snack Food Association, National Confectionary Association, and The Grocery Manufacturers Association.  Mr. Lee presently serves as President and CEO of Benestar Brands, a holding company formed to build a midsize snack food company with a portfolio of differentiated brands.  He is an active member of the Board of Directors for Krispy Kreme having served for the past six years.   As Chairman of Muffin Mam he will work closely with the management team to execute their strategic plan, ensuring the company delivers it’s aggressive growth plans.
